About Concord Taxpayers AssociationConcord Taxpayers Association is a bipartisan group of Concord citizens who have come together to provide information and guidance on issues that are important to Concord voters. Charles G. Douglas, III - Co-Chairman Chuck is the founding parter of the Douglas, Leonard and Garvey Law Firm in Concord. Prior to founding the firm, Chuck served as legal counsel to then-Governor Meldrim Thomson, Jr. in 1973 -1974. He was appointed as a Superior Court Judge from 1974 - 1976. In 1977, Chuck became one of the youngest New Hampshire Supreme Court Justices, serving until 1985. Chuck served as a Congressman in the United States House of Representatives, Second District, in 1989 -1990. Anthony Schinella - Co-Chairman Tony is an award-winning newspaper editor/journalist and radio broadcaster. Before becoming a full-time journalist, he was involved in numerous Democratic, independent and progressive campaigns, including two presidential campaigns for Ralph Nader and U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy's 1994 campaign. He edits a newspaper in Massachusetts and also publishes Politizine.com and OurConcord.com.
