Contact Your Local Elected Officials

Your vote is a very powerful tool. Our City Council and School Board members were elected by us and should be responsive to our concerns.

We have to let our elected officials know where we, the voters, stand on the issues.

Attend City Council and School Board Meetings

Each week there are several public meetings where our elected officials propose and discuss how our tax dollars are spent. By attending key budget meetings, you can voice your opinions directly to those decision makers. There is power in numbers and the larger presence we have at these meetings, the more we can hold our elected officials accountable.

Write Letters to the Editor

Everyday, our local newspapers publish several letters from local citizens. We need a team of Concord Taxpayers to write letters to the editor on a regular basis. We need to make sure the people of Concord are aware of what is happening with their tax dollars and what consequences we face if spending goes unchecked.
